Day 13 of 365

Today was crazy.  We did a lot of running around. Lily was such a good girl.  Despite everything she was content, giggly and the perfect angel I know she is.  Sometimes I pick up a very special little girl from "pizza school".  She is a very sweet little girl, she loves Lily. One of my favorite things about picking her up is that when she gets in the car and I have kids songs on the radio she sings them to Lily and Lily cracks up!  I love her (her brothers too) like she is a part of my family,  even if she loves Wes the best.

This little girl loves her daddy and his beard.
It's a little fuzzy but I still want to blow it up and put it on the wall. :)

Day 12 of 365

Today was a busy day. Lily has started loving the sound of her voice. Sometimes it sounds like she is upset but then when you see her face she is just as happy as can be.  She has also been trying to sit up on her own. She does "crunches" and tries to sit up. It won't be long and my little baby will be sitting all by herself. Little bit was so tired in the evening. She couldn't last long enough to take a picture.

Day 11 of 365

Here is Lily with one of her favorite friends. This seahorse is like the modern gloworm. Her belly lights up and it plays music. She just cuddles it and licks it and kisses all over it.  She is so sweet.

Day 10 of 365

In the past week Lily has found her voice.  She talks and talks.  The mornings and evenings are the best. Between the giggle fits and chattiness it is just too much.  Some of the best sounds of my life! I am so thankful that Lily responds to Wes so well. I was curious about how she would act only seeing him a few hours each day. They are buddies.  She is so sweet with him!!  We have been doing tummy time to encourage her to roll over (she rolls from front to back and back to front)  Despite her crazy hair, here is tummy time:

Day 9 of 365

Today Lily and I stayed home from church because Lily was a little under the weather. I thought just in case she is sick I didn't want to risk everyone else's kids getting sick.  Luckily for us, she ended up being just fine.  I guess she was just overstimulated from the events of the weekend prior to today.
She is loving her feet!!!

Day 8 of 365

Today was Jamie's wedding.  It was very beautiful and Wes was very handsome in his tux.  Poor Lily was passed around and loved on by so many people. She made a few new friends and I was so thankful that the girls held her for me while I worked on the flowers.  Once we made it to the reception she found her uncle Michael and that was all she wrote. We are home now and SO tired!!

Day 7 of 365

Today was a whirlwind of a day.  Wes was off work and we headed to Seminole to help our friend Jamie with the flowers for his wedding.  Wes is a groomsman in his wedding and so we went to the rehearsal dinner. I learned a few things tonight:  I miss doing flowers for weddings,  I enjoy the company of old friends and a few new ones, and most importantly that a four month old cannot wait for 35 people to order, get and eat their dinner.  She was pretty good but I got a little frazzled.
Here she is getting her diaper changed and she was cracking up and playing with her feet. Look at her crazy hair after her bath :)

Day 6 of 365

Tonight Wes went out with the guys to see Tron.  So Lily and I had a "girls night".  We played, watched "You've Got Mail", and went through her clothes. She is ready to go up another size :(  Lily is becoming more and more aware everyday.  She is grabbing and touching everything. Here she is on her playmat.

Day 5 of 365

We ran around town today. We went to the flower shop to see old friends. I sure do miss that place! I get a little sad when I think about it, but I feel so blessed to be able to spend time with my beautiful baby girl.  She is doing so many different things everyday. I couldn't imagine missing all the little moments.  She has perfected her pinch. She likes pulling mommies hair. She is giggling more and more. She loves playing with her feet. She amazes me more all the time. Here she is: Pretty in Purple :)

Day 4 of 365

My goodness. I have been trying to post for days and it kept freezing up. Here we go......
Today was a day to get back to routines.  I started picking up the kids today and Wes went back to work after a looooong weekend. It was so nice having him home. In the four days he was home, Lily became quite the little daddy's girl. It is so sweet watching them play together. It makes me happier than anything!  Here they are playing Super Mario Brothers.

Told you! Girl loves her daddy!!!

Day 3 of 365

Today was Lily's 4 month Well Baby Check-Up!!!  Dr. Julie says that Lily looks good and healthy.  She weighs 12lbs 13oz and is 24 3/4 inches long.  She is growing like a weed. Last night she found her feet and has been playing with her new "toys" all day! So cute. We are so glad that she is growing just right and is healthy. Love you all!

I know I have been cheating and putting 2 pictures but I just couldn't choose :)

Day 2 of 365

I know I am a day late so I will be doing two posts tonight.
Yesterday we went to church at Whispering Pines. We ran around in the afternoon and then had dinner with Gigi, Pops and the boys. We feel very blessed that the boys love Lily SO much. I hear of kids being jealous of babies. My brothers are the opposite! They just kiss and hug all over her and think she is the bees knees.
Lily is getting so strong and enjoying her Bumbo seat more everyday.

January 1 - Day 1 of 365

Today was a long day. We stayed up late last night ringing in the New Year with friends and family.  It was a great time and of course Lily was such a trooper.  She smiled at everyone and even snuck in a little nap on Pops. :)  Today she was super cranky, very unlike her.  Luckily daddy was home to help (and see what I do all day).  Anyway here is picture number 1. I hope I can keep this up.
